K&D is proud to announce the hiring of Ethan Wicklund as an Associate Attorney. He was admitted to the California Bar in December 2015, and joined our firm in February of 2016. We look forward to our future success together.
Ethan received his J.D., with distinction, from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in May 2015, where he was inducted into the Traynor Honor Society, and also earned Dean’s List honors for two consecutive years. While at McGeorge, Ethan served as an Associate Articles Editor for the Global Business and Development Law Journal, and was also involved with the school’s pro-bono Bankruptcy Clinic. In addition, he earned his B.A. in Political Science from U.C. Berkeley in 2011.
Ethan’s experience in the legal profession began in his college years, where he interned with a San Francisco civil litigation firm for three years. During law school, he clerked for the Honorable Stephen Johnson in the United States Bankruptcy Court, and also volunteered as a law clerk with the Sacramento City Attorney’s Office.
Although most of his experience is in litigation, Ethan has also worked in different advisory capacities, counseling clients on a one-on-one basis to provide trustworthy legal advice in non-litigation settings. He enjoys guiding the client through the variety of legal procedures to ensure optimal transparency, and to obtain the best possible outcome for the client.
