We are happy to welcome a new member to the K&D Team. Sean Stowers joined the firm as an Associate Attorney in August 2015. He will work on both litigation and transactional matters.
Sean received his undergraduate degree in Government and Philosophy from California State University, Sacramento, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Before entering law school, Sean worked as a laboratory technician, where he performed testing to help business and government agency clients ensure compliance with California and federal environmental water quality laws.
While in college, Sean became interested in the law by taking a course on the Philosophy of Law. During law school, he took a course in Jurisprudence, where he discovered that his passion for the law stems from a deep desire to understand how the law can best be used to promote human advancement. As a legal extern for the California Attorney General’s Office, Sean enjoyed learning how to put this passion to practical use. It was here that he realized that civil litigation is his calling.
Sean lives in Sacramento, and his hobbies include reading science fiction novels, hiking, and avidly rooting for the San Francisco Giants.
