Lauren N. Moran

Lauren Moran is a Law Clerk at Krogh & Decker, LLP and a full-time third-year law student at McGeorge School of Law, where she is pursuing a concentrating in Capital Lawyering. Lauren is a two-time recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, for the highest grade in Legal Writing and The Legal Profession. Lauren serves as a teaching assistant in McGeorge's legal writing program where she mentors and assists 1L with refining their legal writing skills. Lauren earned her Bachelor's degree in Economics with a Specialization in Policy from the University of California, Davis.

Before law school, Lauren worked at the California Hospital Association, where she managed the organization's Political Action Committee and advised on compliance with campaign finance laws. During law school, she gained additional experience in legal research, legal writing, and statute enforcement while clerking with the Enforcement Division of the California Fair Political Practices Commission.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys exploring local coffee shops, hiking, wine tasting, and spending time with family and friends.
