Marlen Gaytan-Leon

Marlen is a Law Clerk at Krogh & Decker, LLP. She is a full-time, second-year student at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. She graduated from the University of California, Merced in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a minor in Sociology.

Before law school, Marlen worked in multiple criminal law offices where she developed strong analytical and research skills. Marlen has held advocate roles and understands the importance of communicating efficiently and advocating for the client's best interest in a manner that respects and represent the client's position. In law school, Marlen has expanded her knowledge and skills allowing her to think critically and creatively problem solve. She joins the K&D team with an outgoing, detail-oriented personality and a "client first" mentality.

When Marlen has free time, she enjoys being outdoors, going on runs or long walks, practicing yoga, and spending time with loved ones.
