Crystal Huynh-Kim
Crystal joined Krogh & Decker in April 2021 as an Associate. She graduated from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento. Crystal has an extensive philanthropic background working in non-profit organizations. Prior to and during law school, Crystal was a law clerk at a firm with legal experience in complex business litigation, accountant's liabilities, bankruptcy, and public agency contracts. She also worked in community organizing in housing advocacy in Sacramento, an externship at a public interest non-profit law firm in San Francisco focusing on complex social issues facing California communities, and an internship working with constituents and legislative affairs in the California State Assembly.
She believes in fostering conversations and making connections to
ensure we bring the best results for our clients.
Community Involvement
Crystal is currently on the Board of Directors of the United
Vietnamese Student Associations of Northern California to advise student
organizations in risk management and community service, a member of the Vietnamese
American Bar Association of Northern California, and a Founder of the Sacramento
AAPI Coalition in assisting and navigating resources and information to the
broader community. Prior to her current involvement, she was a chair member of
the Greater Sacramento Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce.
Education
Crystal received her Juris Doctor from Lincoln Law School of
Sacramento. During her time at Lincoln Law School, she was the President of the
Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA) and was a selected
student of the 4th Year Judge Mentorship Program to be mentored
by a Sacramento Superior Court Judge. She obtained her undergraduate degree in
Political Science with an emphasis in Public Service at the University of
California, Davis.
In her free time, she manages a dumpling business with her husband and lounges with her senior pug.
