Sunny Gill

Attorney

Sunny joined Krogh & Decker in July 2021. While a student at the McGeorge School of Law, Sunny joined the Legislative and Public Policy clinic where he and his colleagues helped Senate Bill 212, authored by Senator Ben Allen, reach Governor Gavin Newsom's desk. Legislative experience taught Sunny the art of communication, relationship, and argument.

Sunny's parents migrated from India to California around 1993 in search of a brighter future, and a brighter future is just what they found. Small business runs parallel to Sunny's life as his parents have been shopkeepers since his childhood. "Customers come first. Without them, you have no business," Sunny's dad often reminds him. Krogh & Decker's value in putting clients first, and Sunny's experience in the family business, move him to deliver on this principle as a lawyer.

Sunny's free time usually involves sports or music, walking his dog Leo in the woods, or picking up an instrument gives Sunny space from the hustle and bustle of things. Often it is in this space where sound judgment and creative solutions come about.

Education

Sunny received his Juris Doctor from McGeorge School of Law with a concentration in Capital Lawyering. He received his B.A. in Sociology: Law and Society with a minor in Psychology at UC Davis.
