Ryan joined Krogh & Decker in November of 2018 as an Associate Attorney. After receiving his undergraduate degree from UC Davis, Ryan attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law where he was on the Dean’s List and graduated, with distinction, in May of 2017. Upon graduation, Ryan also received a certificate of completion for finishing a concentration of study in Intellectual Property. Ryan was admitted to the California State Bar in the fall of 2017.
Before joining K&D Ryan was working for a large insurance defense firm in the bay area where he was involved in complex litigation matters. Ryan gained valuable litigation experience including exposure to law and motion practice, mediation, deposition preparation, and other skills required in the tool belt of a practicing litigator.
As a long-time advocate of client-first policies, K&D’s value, “take care of the client” is important to Ryan in how he approaches his job and client relationships. The K & D value of “demand excellence” is also fundamental to Ryan’s performance and attitude towards his duties as a legal practitioner.
Outside of his legal work, Ryan generally enjoys outdoor recreation, traveling, and spending time with his wife. Ryan is also an avid fisherman and annually goes after the “big one” on destination fishing adventures. In the past several years Ryan has also become involved in freediving and spearfishing which he utterly enjoys.
